Every TUF Designs project includes an artwork license based on how the finished design will be used. These terms protect both you and TUF Designs while clearly defining personal, commercial, and exclusive use.
By placing an order, you agree to the license provided with your project.
TUF Designs retains copyright ownership of the original artwork and working files. Your payment covers the creation of the artwork and the usage rights included with your project.
Copyright ownership is only transferred when a separate Full Rights Transfer is purchased and completed through a signed written agreement.
Custom artwork created specifically for your project will not be resold to another customer or offered by TUF Designs as a retail design.
TUF Designs retains the copyright unless it is transferred in writing, but your custom design remains exclusive to your project.
A Personal Use License is included with standard vehicle artwork.
* Files Included: High-resolution raster files such as PNG or JPG.
* Allowed Uses: Wall art, personal shirts, gifts, social media profiles, and other non-business projects.
* Not Allowed: Selling the artwork, using it to promote a business, or placing it on products intended for resale.
A Commercial Use License is required whenever artwork is used to promote a business, organization, event, product, or brand.
A Full Rights Transfer is available for clients who need copyright ownership and greater control over the finished artwork. This is generally intended for business logos, exclusive apparel designs, and other brand assets.
The transfer requires an additional fee and a signed written agreement identifying the rights being transferred.
Unless confidentiality or non-display terms are arranged in writing before work begins, TUF Designs may display finished artwork and work-in-progress images on its website, social media, and portfolio.
If your project must remain private until a launch or permanently confidential, mention that when requesting your estimate. Additional fees may apply.
If you’re creating merchandise, promoting a shop, organizing an event, or building a clothing brand, tell us how and where the artwork will be used.
We’ll provide an estimate covering the artwork, required file formats, and appropriate commercial usage rights.
